  • April water challenge

    It's no joke , it's time to sign up for the April Water Challenge






    Drinking enough water is vital on Atkins
    for many reasons:



    1) It helps to flush toxins and fats out of the body;
    2) protects the kidneys;
    3) prevents dehydration;
    4) helps prevent constipation;
    5) helps with water retention; and
    6) keeps your skin healthier




    This is one of the easiest challenges to can do - all you have to do is DRINK!!
    We don't take any days off - this is a month long challenge. It's up to you to post daily



    RULES

    1. Commit to an amount of PURE water you will
    consume each day (64oz minimum) - nothing but pure
    water counts toward this challenge so please don't count
    coffee, soda, tea, etc - just water!!




    2. Sign up A.S.A.P. We start April 1st



    3. Post your total water intake once a day (ie: Apr. 1 - 64 oz)


    4. All you have to do is post your name and how many ounces of water you are pledging each day.
    Each day put the date and number of ounces you drank for that day - it's that easy.

    again this month!!

      I am in for 96 oz again.

      ...just so easy to count. LOL.

      * I may not be able to post often this month, I most likely will be doing my cross country move, and will have limited access to the net at times. Actually limited access to a computer for a while. (Wish I could turn in our two home computers for a new laptop!!! LOL!)

              First water challenge for me too - 64oz daily
              39Y: ReStart Mar 15th now non-smoker: SW175: CW173: GW140 No cigs for 112 days.

              Measurements starting 15th March 10 - last measured 1st May 10:
              Starting Underarms around chest 38" Now 35" lost 3"
              Starting Bust: 43" Now 41" lost 2"
              Starting Ribcage: 35" Now 33.5" lost 1.5"
              Starting Waist: 33" Now 32" lost 1"
              Starting Hips: 42" Now 40.5" lost 1.5"
              Stating Upper arm: 12" Now 11.5" lost 0.5" x 2 = 1"
              Starting Thigh: 23" Now 22" lost 1" x 2 = 2"
              Lost 12" total

              Mount Everest - 6,035/58,070 steps - started 29th April 10

                  Welcome to all the new people!! ladysunnshine and Mary - thanks for joining me again! I hope we get a lot more people, tell everyone you know!!

                  We start April 1st. Come post everyday (or as often as possible) - the more often you post the less chance you will forget. Can't wait to be handing you your water challenge award at the end of the month! If you miss a day don't quit - I give you 3 "gimme" days where you can miss your pledge - on the 4th day you are eligible for the honorarable mention award...so EVERYONE gets an award!

                            Glad to have more of the "regulars".....thanks so much for believing in yourselves enough to want to make yourselves healthier in one of the easiest ways possible....by drinking water!

                            Ok remember, we start in the morning, ONLY PURE WATER counts, post as often as possible (daily is best!), do the best you can to make your goal daily, THEN drink a few extra ounces, just for good measure!

                            Can't wait to see y'all at the finish line on the last day of April!
