Thx Effie. I'm still in extended induction, and will remain here until I am within 20 lbs of my goal, then I'll move to OWL. I lose an average of 2-3 lbs per week, with the last few weeks being between 4-5 lbs. I workout 6 days a week and sometimes 7, and am deligent with my water consumption. This WOE does work!

Hey Debbie,
How was your treadmill workout? My goal from Monday was to exercise 4 days this week. I wanted to run 3 and rollerblade 1, and so far I've run once and rollerbladed once. I have two more days to get 2 runs in! I NEED to run tomorrow (Saturday), and I'm posting it here so I can be accountable!
I went over on my carbs today, so I definitely want to run it off. My weight is down to 191, so I want to be able to maintain that until Monday so it's official! That'll be 11.5 pounds down for me. I want to get into the 180's for the Birthday Challenge (July 6th!).
Geez... I just re-read my post. I want! I want! I want! Maybe it's time I DO.

That is funny though, I've been there, problem is I was right in the middle of doing squats.but only lasted 10 minutes before I had a bathroom emergency. The good news is that now I'm only up 2 pounds. (That's gross, I know)
As for me, I weighed today, accidently, but found that I was down 2lbs! So that puts me at 288, I dont think I am going to make the 280 mark I set for myself for July 4th, but at least I am in the 80's. My biggest disappointment is that I don't think I'll be in 38's by then either.
Ohwell, we will see what happens by the end of the month! lol335/265/230

You guys are doing great! :joy
Effie, my workout was good and it felt good! I didn't do alot the rest of the week. We went camping Fri night and got back last night. I did some walking but nothing to get excited about.
So tonight I'm back at it. Gonna do weight machines and 30 min uncomfortable walk on the treadmill. :help

My weight this morning was mega screwy, so I'm going even going to post it. I had a weird week. I started a new job 2 weeks ago, and on Thursday they had a pizza party for one of the maintenance guys who was leaving. I felt like I was too new to be pulling the cheese off my pizza. I didn't feel bad about. I had 1.5 slices of pizza and said that a 1 or 2 pound gain was worth "fitting in" with people I was meeting for the first time. Then on Friday, my husband wanted pizza that night. I thought that since I did so well with the pizza on Thursday (didn't cause cravings or an immediate weight gain), I could do it again. Well, this time I still ate 1.5 slices, with crust, but then I had another 1.5 slices with the toppings only. Can you feel me sliding off the deep-end here? On to Saturday... Chinese food. I've had chicken & broccoli with no rice before, and although I know the sauce is loaded with carbs (probably, I just assume it is), it's never been a problem. I ate my chicken & broccoli, but then I had a ton of appetizers from the pu pu platter, included the battered chicken fingers AND a crab rangoon. That was the first time I felt out of control. Sunday I decided to detox. I was just going to eat a regular induction menu with a lot of veggies, but no sooner did I decide to do that, I ate leftover chinese food for breakfast!
I'm going to stop here because reading posts like this from anyone annoys me, and now I'm totally annoyed at myself all over again. There was just an awesome post in one of the forums called, "It's not the food, it's the Guilt" and I think I've just ignited the guilt in me by writing this post.
Everyone is doing wonderfully. I'm back on track today. Please forget you ever read this, because I'm going to forget that I ever posted it.

Re: 2005 THANKSGIVING CHALLENGE!
Wow, did I kill this thread with my last post, or is everyone just having a great time on a long weekend? Since I won't be home to weigh & measure tomorrow morning, I did it today. I'm down 3 pounds since last Monday, and .5 pound since the week before. It really didn't me that long to get back on track after my episode last weekend. We have 20.5 weeks until Thanksgiving, and I'm 17 pounds from my goal of 175. I can do that.
How's everyone else????

Re: 2005 THANKSGIVING CHALLENGE!
hey i'd like to join your challenge. i would like to be at my goal weight of 120 by thanksgiving. i am currently in the mid 140's (i'll find out more accurately tomorrow) and i am doing another challenge to be at 130 for my birthday - aug 18. so i figure once i start moving up in the phases and slow down my loss that 120 by then should be feasible, and i may even be early depending on how much i exercise and my metabolism.
so count me in.

I'll join you. I restarted on July 7, 2005 and I have lost 7 pounds thus far. I would like to lose 50 pounds by thanks giving. That sounds like an excellent challenge to keep me motivated and focused.
