I am sorry about your day Mary, I know how it feels to wake up sick and on top of that have worries about studies. Think that could be the problem, worring about the test?

Well We haven't heard from Johnny yet, Did he quit us? lol

As for my day, today was cardio, I walked about 3 miles this afternoon. I first went around my town then decided to check out some prarie land behind some houses. Its hard to describe but it was a gorgeous texas day. hardly any clouds, 90+ degrees.

I was walking in this one part where I knew no one was around and decided to get some sun with my shirt off lol. I liked it and can't wait to do it again.

That was the only highlight of my day. Other than that, today has been one of those days you just wish never happened...Things so horrible, it makes you say, "Screw everything, I give up, on it all..". Maybe tommorow will be better.

    until then,

Hmm, I dont know about Montana.. Maybe he is waiting for the June 20th weigh in?

And I don't think I was sick from nervousness, looking back I think it was lack of fiber or something. I made a point to eat a bunch of healthy vegetables this morning and within the hour felt MUCH better. Lest that be a lesson to me!!

As for the test.. I did awesome (if I do say so myself)!! I got a 710 verbal and a 650 math (I could have done much better, but didn't pace my self so I ran out of time on the last five questions).. anyway this gives me a competitive edge for my admission to grad school so I am happy.. and so happy it is over!!

I am so sorry to hear that you are having a hard time. If you ever want to talk about it, shoot me an email. I hope things work themselves out for you. Maybe it can be of some releif to know that even if you don't have control for these other things,, you are taking control of your own life and moving in a more positive, healthy direction for yourself.

      Take care!!

I remember you telling me about that having to weigh in all the time. Is it possible you think to not look at it? Or tell them to keep it a secret from you? lol. Why do they insist on wiehing every other day?

CONGRATULATIONS MARY!!! I am proud of you, those are very good scores, you have alot to be proud about.

The Fiber thing I understand, sometimes we forget about it because before most of us were eating all kinds of bread and getting enough fiber, although it was followed by unwanted bad things...hehe.

Thanks for listening to me whine yesterday and I appreciate the offer, I am getting over things. I have determined in my mind that I am just getting myself ready so I can go into the military. ITs my dream you know? I want it so bad. I just have this fear that something is going to cause me not to be able to.

The way I see is this, I'll work towards the goal, if it doesn't come true, then I will have the skills and the confidense to approach other roads in my life.

anywho, I am rambiling on, but Tonight is my lifting night! whoo hoo! my favorite. Tonight its Stiff legged Dead lifts, Rows and a few chest exercises. along, with my pushup cycles and crunce cyles. I tell you, crunches really make a difference on your belly.

Alrighty, well have an incredible day!

Well hope to hear from y'all soon!

                Hey Nick!

I didn't think I'd be able to use the internet this weekend, but this hotel has free wireless, so I'm on my laptop right now. Ive been trying my best to stay on the program while my family's in town, so far so good except I'm never sure exactly what I'm getting at restaurants, hopefully no hidden carbs.

For exercise, me and my sister went to a close-by National Park and hiked up a hill (mountain/hill not sure) and back for a total of 70 minutes. Good work out and lots of fun, but now my knees are sore from the downhill walking!

And I am SUNBURNT! I put on SPF 50 in the morning, slabbed it on, waited 15 minutes before going outside and everything, and I am still diseased looking right now!! I swear I'm allergic to this california sun! (I never burnt when I lived in michigan)

Anyway, back to my routine come Monday.

Have a happy lowcarbing weekend everyone!

Well looks like I did a good job while eating at restaurants over the weekend. Weighed myself the morning after I got home, and scale was down to 250.4! (my official weigh-in isn't till saturday, I was just excited to see my progress from the weekend)

I've been living off of tuna-mayo-&cheese lately.. cheap, easy to make, tastes good, and it fills me up! I try to eat a variety of things so my stomach doesn't get upset, but I could easily just eat the tuna. If I keep it up I should rename this the tuna&mayo diet, lol.

other then walking my dog and walking around campus, I haven't exercised since the hike I took on Saturday. My goal for tomorow is to get back on the treadmill!!!

                      Have a good day!

You are going to pass that 250 mark really quick I swear, you are going to wake up one morning and poof! goodbye 250's forever. Lol I can't wait until I get to 250! Then again are goals are different.

I understand the cheapness of that stuff. Lettuce and cucumbers are cheap here too, so basically I can get away with 2-3 weeks of food for myself for only 35 bucks!

Well yesterday was a good day. I bought some Jean shorts about 3 weeks ago, and kinda of a mini goal. they were 40s. When I first started atkins I was in a tight 44, now I am in a tight 40!! not to much longer and they will be lose! I can't wait. I also can't wait to pass the 40 marks lol

Yesterday was a pretty big cardio day, Since I didn't get to get a full weight workout last night. In the morning time I mowed the back yard, then in the afternoon I did a little biking, I don't know if you've been on a bike latley but its alot different than on a stationary! lol. I did that for about half a mile, then I got off and went walking for about 2 miles.

At night I did my cycles of crunches and pushups. MY pushups are getting better!!! I increased them in 5. When I take the initial army PT test I am going to be better than average..I am going to be a PT KING!!! lol

Well, I guess we lost Johnny lol

                        anywho, have a great day!

Well for two days in a row the scale read around 249.75. So I am happy!!!

As my mini-goal outfit, I have a pair of jeans that I bought like 3 years ago, right as I was gaining weight.. so they were close to fitting, but didn't fit back then, but I of course thought I would be losing weight and would fit into them! So they still have the tags on them lol. Anyway, I tried them on at the beginning of this WOL and I could barely pull them up all the way... Now I can easily pull them up but can't button them. Maybe 10 more pounds.. I am excited!!

249!!!! I TOLD YOU THAT YOU WERE GOING TO PASS 250!!!

I am proud of you, I really am. I gurantee you will get those pants up in no time. Jee, I never thought I would tell a girl to get her pants on lol.

Last night I discovered the trampoline. I was always to big to jump on one, but I finally got on one last night, haven't done that in years. And jump to my hearts content, I tell you I felt like I do after I get done running!

I tell you what, WE ARE DOING IT! Just think where you will be in only a few months, or at the last day of this challenge. The feeling is going to be amazingly incredible! is that a word? lo

My weigh in is only 11 days away, and our official weigh in aswell. I am so excited I can't wait.

well heres to a good day!

                              Thank you for the encouragement!

i'll tell you, some days it feels like being skinny is just around the corner, and other days it feels like it is never going to happen, no matter how upbeat I try to be!

Well today I exercised to the "myfitness" video game and did some additional crunches. I also walked my dog (which is a given every day, since my puppy will be very destructive if I don't walk him and he will chew the house down lol).

For the rest of the day I have to focuz on studying for a quiz tomorow. I wish the quiz were on another day because I am very distracted and full of anxiety over other issues today. Oh well, I guess I just have to focus.

Hope you are having an awesome day! Can't wait until our official weigh in day on June 20th, we are both going to be amazed at our progress

Well how did the quiz go?! I am really curious!

I guess we lost Johnny to another board or something like that, I don't really care though, but I guess its just the two of us :nod

I have finally improved and tweaked my program just the way I want it, so monday starts a whole new weak of work. I am taking the weekend off from exercise to let my body rest and catch up.

I hope you have a great weekend, don't forget about me in here lol
