Did you put an ad in the paper or put up any notes around the neighborhood saying that you found her?

She is gorgeous! I would definitely put up signs saying found. It's worth a shot.

Wow, she lookes just like the first cat I ever had (except mine was male).

Beautiful cat. I'm still trying to get the wife to let us get more pets but she won't have it. I'm lucky I got fish. I'll keep working on her though.

          I wish I could help.

I'd bet money she's lost too. I'd definitely put an ad in the paper. Ours here runs free ads for lost/found pets

              she is adorable! :yes

There's this black stray cat that hangs out near my work place, and i know its a he because its quite obvious lol so he is just so cute. I'm tempted to scoop him up and bring him home. The other day he was meowing so when my husband picked me up from work, we both decided hey lets go get some food for the cat. So he bought him a pouch of chicken tenders and the cat just gobbled it up.

I felt so sorry for the cat because its very hot outside and he was obviously hungry.

              I love cats too!

Well, I decided to see if maybe she could find her way home, so I took her back to where I got her from, but she just cried and seemed confused and lost, so I took her back home.

I've been looking around the area for lost cat signs, but don't see any. I also let her out the front door to see what she would do and she just walked around crying.

Basically, all she does is cry. She cries to go out. She cries anytime I touch her. Yesterday she had a hard time opening one of her eyes.

I honestly don't know what to do with her. My cats are upset that she's here. She hates my other cats. I don't have a whole lot of money to get her checked out and stuff and no place seems to do it for cheap.

I'm starting to debate taking her to the SPCA and letting them abort her kittens and hopefully find her a home. Also, if she is lost, a logical place to look for her is the SPCA, though it really seems like she was abandoned.

What would you do if you were me?

There's a good possibility that she will have a good home to go too. My friend's co-worker is interested in her. She's in college and living at home, so she will talk to her parents tonight and give a response tomorrow.

Please pray that this wonderful kitty does get a home!

+prayers going up that she gets a home+

I haven't read through this whole thread but I must say I really admire you for everything you've done for her. I have 2 cats of my own and I can only imagine the stress it puts on everyone (including the humans) when there is a "stranger" in the house. I hope everything works out well!

Thanks! I just can't leave a cat outside. I'm a sucker that way.

                      Good news!!!! She's home!

I found flyers tonight on my walk for "lost kitty". The pic was totally her. I called the people and they just left with Cloe.

Btw, she's fat, not preg, lol. She's fixed, so she could never be preg.

Oh! How wonderful!!!! I'm so happy for you and gordita Cloe! That really made my day...you must be feeling so relieved! :joy You're so awesome Amber!

And I know what you mean about cats. The neighbors have a cat that they don't take care of. He got into a mulitple fights with another cat and had wounds on both front legs. They wouldn't do anything about it so without even asking I scooped him up and took him to the vet. Cost me about $50 bucks (not too bad considering) and he wasn't expected to make it but with antibotics twice a day and tender loving care he pulled through. When he was a kitten we wanted him and the dad was going to give him to us until one of their (spoiled) little girls threw a tantrum. Since we had to give him wet food twice a day (mixed the antibotic in it) we've had to do that ever since. He's a sweet cat though and I can't bear to see animals neglected.

I'm glad there's people like you around. It bothers me that I try and take care of cats and lots of people think I'm crazy and don't understand. They think I'm weird, when if the world cared about animals like me, there wouldn't be so many suffering.

I'm so happy she found her family and now she's at home safe and happy. It turns out she escaped on Sunday and I found her Mon. night. I wish they hadn't taken so long getting the signs out. I know I had them out for my cats right away.

She used to be an outdoor cat they are making indoors, so when the door opened, she escaped. It's great to know her name now and her story. I'm so happy about this. They had their little boy with them and he seemed so excited to have her back.

I'm really glad the story had a happy ending.

                              Re: STRAY CAT-pics added

We have three and a half cats - the half is a cat who's been hanging around for two years, would nip in thru the flap and pinch ours grub. Recently she's got very friendly - up until then she'd run like the wind when she saw us.
she wears a collar and name tag with a phone number. She is always starving hungry, so we feed her at least twice a day, the rest of the time she hangs around the house/garden. I don't know if her folks have moved and she has found her way back or if they have just moved or what's happened, either way she isn't been taken care of very well.
I'm happy enough to keep her - she has an up and down relationship with our cats, though we've had to keep her out since one of ours had a road accident last week. What worries me is the winter - I think she sleeps outside during the summer but I don't think she will settle inside permanently. I suppose time will tell.
I'm absolutely thrilled that your story has had such a happy ending, I used to rehome a lot of strays and worked on a freelance basis for a local cat charity. It's a godsend when people take the initiative themselves and gives me faith back in humanity.
