    Anyone watch Six Feet Under?

    I have been feeding birds in my yard for years. Yesterday was the first time one of these came to visit me. I threw peanuts at it and it stared at me, then buried them in my yard while I watched. Having just seen Six Feet Under, I thought I would share this oh so creepy experience!

    I just started subscribing to HBO a few weeks ago but I've never watched that show. What's it about?

    Is that a blue jay? Whenever we have wasps nests on our back porch I throw peanuts out to attract them. Not only do they love peanuts they also have a thing for wasps nests. They pluck those things right off and eat them. Problem solved!

      I use to love that show during the first season. But then it got way to "Sexual " for me if you know what I mean.

        I follow it faithfully. I thought the bird thing was almost over the top.

        And didn't you think last weeks episode seemed fraught was negative drama? It was the first time I didn't care for the show. But I still think Nate is yummy.

          That bird freaked me out. Do you think it was the Dad, or just a bad omen? I agree that last week's was so-so, but this past one, I thought was so great! I loved when the Mom yelled at Claire when she was wishing Nate happy B-day! Makes my family seem normal!

          Bugaboo, you gotta try watching it. Too complicated to try to explain, maybe if you went to www.hbo.com you could catch up a little. I really think it's the best show on these days! The most interesting, for sure!

          Fight, I know what you mean about the sexuality, but I think it's not so much this time around. That part never bothered me, but it was my mom who said she couldn't watch it because of that.

            Well I wasn't sure, I didn't think it was Dad, but I don't remember what a bird flying in the house was. It seems the superstition is someone you love or know will die if a bird flies into your house. I just looked online.

            If a robin flies into a room through a window, death will shortly follow.


            Once several years back a female cardinal flew into our patio door and died. And her mate kept flying and into the door repeatedly, over and over for days until he died too. The entire time he was chirping. It was so sad.

              OMG that is the saddest story about the cardinal! and Hmmmmm, very interesting definition about birds flying into a house. First, because it's about funeral directors, deaths are a given, but we thought maybe Billy is gonna do Brenda in first, then himself, that would be death too. And poor Brenda is pregnant again! Gosh, I love this show! We shall see!
