    Chat Quesion

    O.k...while our new home is being set up for us are we going to be hanging out in the new chat room or the old one? I checked out the new one and I likey likey. I'm sure this was probably addressed somewhere and I completely missed it. :geek Just curious because I'd really really like to be hanging out in the new one. It's got some super duper cool stuff.

    And to all that will be working their skinny tails off setting up our new digs a big huge :hug to you all. I can't remember the last time I donated, if it all, but once the new place is set up I'll take a look at the bank balance and see what I can spare. Housewarming gifts are always appropriate.

    Everyone else...no whining while we wait!!!!!! What they're doing is difficult and time consuming. We don't pay to be here so let's all be considerate and understanding while they make the move! *by the way* I don't really see that happening...just covering the bases ya know what I mean?

    Well, I guess you can just check out both chat rooms, hopefully at least one will be working. I couldn't get into the new one earlier today although I hear its up now.

    I hear the new one has sound effects so to all my fellow workers, you might want to make sure your volume is turned down if you're trying to not draw attention to yourself from your boss!

      Lol! It does...I was in there messing around with them. You can turn the chat sound off though. That way if you're supposed to be hard at work nobody is wondering where that meowing/slapping or evil laugh and etc is coming from!

        The only sound the old one made is when someone new entered the room and you can turn that off too. This should be interesting!

          I still can't get into the new chat room all I get is

          Error connecting please try again.

          then it keeps telling me to enter a user name although I have already done it

            Hmmmm...that's odd. I don't have any problems getting in at all. I bet one of the techies here will know what's up though. I'd try sending a pm to Elleth Faewen. She's really great with computer stuff.

                  You won't be in cyber space alone! I know several people who mentioned checking into the chat rooms tomorrow. I know I'll be there...hopefully can visit with you all then!

                      Thanks Bugaboo, but I never was able to get into the new chat room, there were a few of us that hung out in the old one though. Apparently some of us are blocked out of it because of our work. so I will never hear the sounds of the new chat!

                        That's a bummer. I hardly go into chat but if the need arises I'll check the old room first just in case you're there! I never even had time on Friday to go into either chat. Crazy day that was.

                          Yea, chat was always just a good standby for me when the board was down. Susposedly with this new board we won't even have need for it then, cause this board will never go down (LOL) But, I hope they are keeping the old chat room for those of us who cannot get into the new one, that would be horrible if the board went down and only a few of us were left out in the cold w/ no one to talk to.

                            Ooooo...they didn't really say that did they? That's like at my husband's work if someone says "This will be a piece of cake." it jinxes everything. Bad ju ju or something. I hope they keep the old chat room anyway, even with the board up there might be a need to chat with someone in real time. Like when there's some guy on here from Montana who wants to chat... now ...all the live long day ...oh wait...nevermind But I still think that would be cool if they could keep it open.

                              NO lol, they didn't really say that, they just said it shouldn't go down all the time like the last one.
