  • For $10,000, Woman Tattoos Ad on Forehead

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - For $10,000, Kari Smith has gone ahead and had her forehead tattooed with the Web address of a gambling site. Bountiful, 30, who sold her unusual advertising space on eBay, said the money will give her 11-year-old son a private education, which she believes he needs after falling behind in school. "For the all the sacrifices everyone makes, this is a very small one," she said. "It's a small sacrifice to build a better future for my son," she said. "To everyone else, it seems like a stupid thing to do.

Perhaps some nice kind plastic surgeon will remove that thing from her forehead at a later date. I guess I just don't really understand why she did it. It seems like there would be another way to help her son. I remember when a friend of mine had problems with her daughter. A counselor told her that her daughter was so smart that public school didn't challenge her enough. So she scraped up the money and put her in a private school.

Well, she didn't do any better there either because she was mainly lazy, spoiled and wanted to party too much. She could have done better with using some discipline and tough love on her, IMO.

I did the same thing when I was in school. My grades were all over the place. I had good grades when I wanted to and bad ones when I just didn't care. My parents didn't seem to mind. But I would have been apalled if my mother had gotten a big tattoo on her forehead! Ewww!

Really!! You think the kid thinks this is a bright idea. Good thing he is going to a good school and getting educated, cause I wouldn't want to see two generations of walking .com billboards when I am trying to talk to someone. Can you imagine? "YOu can read it in her eyes..." "Uh, no, that's a tatto, you're reading!"
