Hlaing Thar Yar, Myanmar - Chicken-seller Thin Sandarin had always dreamt of being a man.

When she inexplicably grew a penis last month, the 21-year-old treated it as an awe-inspiring omen - as have the thousands of stunned villagers who have travelled to a pagoda to see him.

"On the morning of the full moon day of June 21, I noticed my thing (sex organ) was not the same as before," Thin Sandar, who now goes by the male name Than Sein, said on Wednesday.

"And my breasts disappeared," Than Sein added. "So I called out and showed it all to my mom and dad. It was very strange."

Seriously, this made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. If I suddenly grew a penis overnight, my parents would be the last people I'd be whipping it out to show. Plus, how do you start that conversation?

But seriously, I doubt ANYONE would believe such a story if there wasn't some kind of visual confirmation. While I wouldn't show my parents my natural sex organs, if I happened to grow new ones overnight I'm sure I'd show SOMEBODY lol

This sounds too much like a national enquirer type story to me though - about as believable as the giant 500lb cat from Mars type stories they publish.
