And a businessman in Hartford, Connecticut is dying to take their money.
Frederic Camboulives owns a website, NeverUnder.com, that lets people send “posthumessages” after they die in the forms of letters, DVDs, or computer software.
He encourages customers to be as positive as possible with their messages but admits a small number of people may see the product as an opportunity for revenge.
Camboulives figures his biggest market will come from people in high-risk jobs like those in the military or extreme sports but he could also make a killing from folks with alzheimer’s or terminal illnesses. Although Camboulives started offering “posthumessages” a few weeks ago, he admits some customers are skeptical because, as he puts it, “they won’t be around when the item is delivered.”
