I don't know ....how can you change anyone? and why do we actually want to? I think if what he does bugs me then it becomes my problem..so I try very hard to find distractions rather than try to change his behavior... it is just too much work!..and it doesn't work!..besides there is enough on my plate with out taking on his stuff as well...I guess if I had to say one thing I would change if I had the idea I could ..and I don't!...it would be to have him actually look up from his workbench and directly at me bit more often?

ok, I thought of ONE thing. BUT.....after I have thought it through....

Take away his remote control and the constant flipping! Sounds great hugh? Now.... the only problem with that would leave me (insert music from Jaws here) we would only watch THE HISTORY CHANNEL .........................................

Sorry about that comment. I think we like most things about our spouses/significant others (after all, we chose them!) but that doesn't mean they can't be gently persuaded to change some of their behaviors.

Don't be sorry!!! nothing wrong with that comment I was teasing... it did appear to be where it was going (man or woman bashing!) ....and you are absolutely right we did choose them ...or they chose us..either way you are right on this one that is for sure!!! I personally refuse to make his problems or failings whatever they may be my problem! and by pointing them out I would be doing that ..so even if I do complain once in a while.... life is too short to focus on it...and we have been together too long for that ...I just find happy diversions that is all..... life is never perfect that is for sure ..it is just nice being happy and trying to enjoy life ...friends always seem to take up the slack....what I do complain about is my problem not his!!!
