  • Dukes of Hazard

I watched this when I was really young, probably even then it was mostly reruns along with Rin Tin Tin, K9 Cop and Zorro (the black and white one!!) etc. I loved it then and can't wait to see the movie.

But is anyone else tired of the phrase "I think somethin' bounc'd up in my un'ercarrage *giiggle*" ?

I'm not normally anti-Jessica, I think she's gorgous and alot of her-isms have been from peicing HOURS of tape together so it looks like she's forever being ditzie. I also realize this is a movie in which she is acting but geez......

Did you go to see this?

I think Dukes ran from '79-'85, if I remember that right from a review I read this morning. The critics really panned it. The review I read only gave it 1/2 a star.

My 10 year old is a big fan of the series, but this movie he's going to have to skip.

I just don't understand why they can't come up with something new instead of remaking everything from the past.

They're all out of ideas. I like going to the art theater myself. Last movie I saw was Enron: Smartest Guys in the Room. I thought it was way more interesting than anything Hollywood has done lately. The next film I want to see is March of the Penguins. Maybe this weekend we'll see it.

We're going to see March of the Penguins this week. With the price of drinks and popcorn (for the kids) I might have to skip my car payment. just kiddin'. My 8 year old son is a penguin fanatic. I told him about the possibility of some of the penguins dying and maybe baby penguins too and he said he was o.k with that. I loved Dukes of Hazzard when I was a kid but I just don't think I could go up to the box office and ask for tickets with a straight face. Lol! I'm tired of old t.v shows turned into movies. I never watch them. Hollywood is so out of touch that they're just re-making the heck out of everything.

                Re: Dukes of Hazzard

I worked on the entire Dukes movie, and had more fun than I've ever had on any job! Warner Bros had a mini-premiere here Thursday night and I went with my sister.

The movie isn't going to win any awards, so you take it for what it is, and it is funny and action packed. Knowing how they shot all of the stunts made them even more spectacular on the screen.

I can't wait till they come back to shoot the sequel!

I start on another movie in a few days - The Reaping, starring Hilary Swank, so I'll be MIA from during the week.

I could care less if the movie is worthy of a sequel..... a sequel means work for me! And that's a good thing!
