Morning Edition, May 13, 2005 · South Koreans no longer have to wonder what their dogs are trying to tell them. A cell phone company claims that you can upload a recording of your dog to a canine translation service. The company will sell you a text message of what the dog supposedly wants to say, like "I am frustrated," or "I love you," or, possibly, "Timmy fell in the well." Those of us who don't want to pay for South Korean cell phone service can probably just shake one of those Magic 8 balls.

ROTFLMBO, what will they think of next? The sad thing is, you know how many fools will actually shell out their hard earned money for this...a lot I'm sure.

When I was working at the fuel desk at the truck stop I bought a Magic 8 Ball and put a label on it that said "Information". If someone asked me a question like "Is it going to snow?" I'd just grab the 8 ball. It actually became quite good at predicting the weather...we relied on it more than the forcast.
