  • Do you have any of these?

Does anyone happen to have any old decent cloth diapers and covers laying around that youve needed to get rid of for ages but didnt know what to do with them? If you do, ill take them...I think because Saras bottom is so sensitive that im going to start using cloth diapers...and they are just so darn expensive to buy....anyway thanks yall....

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with cloth diapers, but I'm hijacking your thread anyways to tell you this:

My firstborn had *horrible* diaper rashes continuously - I kept her changed frequently, tried every cream out there and nothing worked. As a last resort we followed the wacked out advice of a friend with a baby a year older than ours .... Maalox! Her little butt smelled like cherries (which we preferred over peppermint lol) but it cleared up her bum and she was a happy camper.

Try the Maalox twisti. The cloth nappies (diapers) can also cause irritation if not changed as they get wet.

Maalox absolutely works for diaper rash. Also there is an ointment called "Triple Paste", it's expensive ($36 for a regular size jar) but that works wonders, when all else fails. I could only find it in old school local pharmacies, the big chains don't seem to carry it.
