High here is about 2.65 gal... a tiny out of the way station with uber old pumps has it for 2.55.... the owner says that is his bonus for owning outright and not getting all those fancy upgrades you hve to make payments on (like coke machines and digital pumps)... best coffee in town too. I will buy bottled *diet* coke and use the turn type pumps anyday...

On a wierder note, when we were in AZ, we would notice that driving from Phx to Vegas, the price of gas in Kingman was always quite a bit lower...but kingman is in the middle of nowhere, so I would think it would cost more to truck it in! In Payson, up in the mtns, gas was sometimes cheaper there, also. WHY?>>>

I luckily am kind of on the recieving end of a little of those high prices. We do a LOT of work for the oil and gas industry all over the world and they have been spending money like mad with us lately. Imagine that......

Their exploring heavily in Alaska again recently (which you won't see on the news), what better way to get their grubbly little greedy hands into Alaska than to create a "fuel shortage" and raise the prices to such high levels that the government will have to step in and rescue us from high energy prices. Mark my words, soon our buddy Bush and his oil companies will be proposing a "solution" to the problem that just happens to include drilling the he!! out of Alaska. Say goodbye to pristine wilderness.

I filled up today for $2.83(9) a gallon for premium. Cost $26.50 for 9.335 gallons. But it should last me almost 2 weeks.

I just spent 38 bucks filling up my tank (2.73 a gallon) and it will last me about 4 days given my commute.

I think for Chanukah this year, we are going to give out bus passes.

My Nana told me two weeks ago that gas in San Diego, CA was at $3.09 for the cheap stuff at the cheapy gas station!

It's around $2.59 here in Peyton/Falcon, CO... I've seen it for $2.49 though but it was way to far for me to go fill up at.

I just fill my car up on Sunday.. spent $21.09 getting a smidge over 8 gallons.

OH MY GOD, you guys! Gas this morning was $1.20 PER LITRE! That's $4.53 a gallon. This is insanity! Gasoline has gone up over 40% in the last year around these parts. If there were ever a time where it was more worth it to just spend the $100 on a metro pass, it is now...

I paid 2.68 this morning. I'm going to keep my car on full, since its not going to go anywhere but up. Usually I wait til its almost empty, not anymore.

You know i just filled up yesterday at 96.7 per litre and i was so exited i got it for that price! how sad is that. I"m curious to see how far it goes on friday, before the long weekend. I heard vancouver has been over a dollar for quite some time.

I heard on the news this a.m. that since canada is an oil producing country, the hurricane effect should not have risen our gas prices so drastically, but the gov't will not investigate and insists there is no 'price gauging'. they're just laughing all the way to the bank with the tax $$ they take in.

For the us ppl, 4.53 per gallon canadian is about 3.80 usd.
