What's your gas price??

Just wanted to see what everyone else is paying for gas. I live in Maryland on the eastern shore and today gas is $1.49. I hear it's only going to go up over the next few days. My kids are getting bored, we are used to getting out the majority of the day, now we are taking more walks, creating play-do creatures, molding paper mache, and beautifying the landscaping, ect... I just can't afford to go out just for the heck of it, anyone have anymore ideas?

$1.49?? We haven't seen $1.49 in I don't know how long?? Almost all the stations are out of gas this morning here. $2.99 is what I was seeing

I am soooooooooooo jealous of 1.49!!!!! I just filled up at 3.19. It hasn't been 1.49 here in 2 years.

Egads! I live in Maryland too (southern Maryland). It took me well over a half hour to get home tonight because some morons have been spreading a rumor that the gas stations in Maryland will close for tonight and the weekend!!!!!!!

Of course, everyone who heard that rumor is panicking and lining up at gas stations to fill up, which means there are long lines around every gas station, which means it's tieing up traffic! Which means I get a longer commute home, which makes me really upset, because I hate long commutes and traffic, which means I want to get my hands on those morons who started that rumor!!!!

Anyhow, depending where you are in my half of the state, the closer you are to the "big cities" like DC and Baltimore the higher the gas prices (almost to $4.00 for regular). The prices seem to decrease by 5-10 cents for every 10 miles you are away from those big cities. So down here regular is about $2. 80, premium is about $3.05

Wow it would be worth the drive from Iowa to pay $1.49 for gas. When I left for work this morning it was $2.87 now 8 hours later it is $3.09. You guessed it - I was running late for work so I didn't fill up this morning. I am such a loser - no let me rephrase that - my checkbook is such a loser!!!!!

I live in Rhode Island gas here is now $3.19- $3.45 per gallon. Bought gas earlier today $20 worth made absolutely no difference, it bearly got me a half tank and that's enough to cause a stroke since I drive a saturn.

I just filled up today (Well I didn't exactly FILL up, I put 15.00 in my tank, that got me about 1/4 of a tank, that will last me a long time don't ya think? lol I keep praying it will go down rather than up, yea right) Gas is $3.25 for the unleaded. (Madison, Wisconsin)

I filled up today at $2.87. They said it will be over $3.00 sometime this weekend. The truck stations are already rationing the fuel. The truckers weren't allowed to get more than 100 gallons at a time.

$1.49?????? Shoot it jumped from 3.03 yesterday afternoon over $.30 by the time I went to gas up the mower last night and today it was over 3.41 for regular and lots of stations werre out of the other 2 grades.

Just a little FYI...gasoline is either regular or supreme...the two get mixed to make the mid-grade. At least that's how it was where I worked. We got a load of regular and supreme. The loads of regular were always bigger than the loads of supreme. Trust me...I had to weigh the trucks and do the calculations that they were dropping the amount of fuel they said they were. We also received 8 or 9 thousand gallons of diesel on every delivery. Our tanks held 40,000 gallons combined compared to the gasoline tanks of 20,000. But that's when I worked at the truck stop fuel desk...I don't know how regular stations work.

O.k...just thought I'd throw that little tid bit out there...now back to your regularly scheduled program...

Okay, I can't be left out here.... 1.49?!!!! OMG!!!

I live in Ohio and it's been 3.09 for the past few days. I stopped to fill up on my way home from work and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was 2.89!!! Woohoo! And then it hit me... I can't believe I'm excited about paying 2.89 a gallon for gas! I drive a VW bug and it cost me almost 40 bux to fill it up!
