During my teenage years I was completely and totally in love with New Kids on the Block BUT! I then fell in love with Harry Connick Jr. and Keanu Reeves. Before that I had a big ol Ricky Schroder (sp?) poster and Cory Hart. I've been a long time Johnny Depp fan...especially when he was on 21 Jump Street. And when I was really little my biggest dream was to become a Solid Gold dancer!!!!

Bug I didn't realize that Cory Hart made it in the states. He's from toronto, i was in love with him...He filmed part of his video 'aint enough for you' (i think that's what it was called?) down the street from me and i went down and got a glimpse of him. haha that was the biggest moment in my life at the time!

What about the group called RUSH and their song "Tom Sawyer" that was so popular?

Funny, rush is still big here and had tons of top 10 hits. they're still played on our Rock stations all the time.


remember those plastic centre things you had to put in the middle of your 45's? i used to lose them all the time. then i'd try to centre it without one. the music would never play right. and i always had to tape pennies to the arm of my record player cause my needle was worn down.

When I was 12, I was certain (CERTAIN!) that I was going to marry Joe McIntyre from New Kids on the Block.

I have managed to walk away from that dream.



But now I'm well into Japanese boybands. Good heavens! They're so pretty. They're so funny. They're so cute! And there are really too many to discuss in detail (Smap, Kinki Kids, NewS, KAT-TUN, Arashi, V6, Tokio...), but one group that I just adore is KanJani 8. They're just fabulous. Their music is wicked, their TV shows are too funny and their concerts are a blast! Anyhoo, this is them:

My favourite boy is Shingo Murakami (top row, left). But I also love Yu Yokoyama (bottom row, left). This Christmas weekend, I'm going to two of their concerts. I can't wait! *insert fangirl squee of delight*
