I'm that way too. I'll start reading a thread and chuckling and usually my DH will look at me like I'm crazy and I'll try and explain it to him. Other times I'm at work and crack up with some of the things on the board!! It's very fun here. Many a time I've been caught with tears in my eyes from laughing so much and a bigwig walks into my office wanting to talk about, of all things, work. lol Warning: Do not eat or drink anything while reading here. It gets messy.

I work in a law office and let me tell you there are many times that some of us (lawyers in cluded) are just laughing our butts off.
Like they say....Laughter is the best medicine!
But yesterday with this thread, I was laughing because you and Richt were going on, then BlackbeltBrian just posts out of the blue something about the meaning of his nick lol just the way he said it just made me laugh....

Mine started out as a joke that got out of hand. I joined a lot of online communities when I bought my motorcycle. I work with computers and picked up the nickname DNS Queen in one of the chat rooms, because I was the resident expert. People kept coming in and it morphed to DNS Goddess. Someone joked around that I was really a Biker Goddess, and as a lark, I registered the name when I found it available. That's my main email now, so what I use online. Until just the last year or two, I've been the only one.
It is a bit embarassing to have that yelled out in public, which is why I sign all my posts with my real name.

I had to come up with an AOL screenname. I chose allierw. I have been allierw ever since, and still use that for emails and my AIM handle. Lately I've added the 26 (my birth date) for variety on some forums. I'm not terribly original!
