The only sitcom I like is "Arrested Development" (and the Simpsons). When I read The War at Home was being billed as the Married with Children of this decade, I knew it wasn't something I would watch.

"Reunion" is supposed to be good, but I haven't watched that yet.

I love arrested development, it's brilliant. And the simpsons as well.

yeah i thought this war at home show was pretty trashy, didn't appeal to me at all. didn't find it terribly funny ..ifound they were doing nothing more than really trying to push the envelope on politcally incorrect jokes (homosexuality, interracial relationship involing their daughter etc) it was in pretty poor taste..even compared to married with children.

Well, I was not going to watch the Apprentice (Donald Trump) this season, but I found out that my old banker's daughter (from back home) is actually on the show. So, now I have to watch. She is about 12 years younger than me, but I remember her as a really pretty little blonde girl now she is a brunette. I think she won either the FAirest of the Fair title or Miss Murray State when she was 18 or so. I know she was a beauty queen but not sure which pageant. Her name is Jennifer and she is now from Arizona. I can't wait to watch.

My hubby said Bones was good.
          He likes House

We both hated Out of Practice (or whatever it's called with Henry Winkler in it)

He loves NCIS and CSI. I usually only get to see reruns because it's on too late

I probably would like bones if I took the time to pay attention.. because I DO like House...

but I just thought some of the comments early in the show.... about the smell of burned flesh.. and using the vegetable oil to loosen the flesh from the metal in the car were too much... or maybe it's just me because I've been waiting to hear the results of Daddy's bone scan and not in the best mood in the world..

              Re: 2005 Fall TV Season

Fall Previews season is too stressful! I become a TV junkie, and I worry about picking which shows I'm going to watch. I don't want to miss the season premiere and then start watching it halfway through the season. Last season, I never watched, nor was interested in watching "Lost". Then, when they started playing the repeats, I saw the first episode and was hooked. I ended up buying the season 1 DVD last week because I knew there were some episodes that I missed, and I wanted to be totally caught up for the Season 2 premiere! I basically ended up pulling 3 all-nighters in a row just to watch all the season 1 episodes. I'm sick. I think I have a disease. NO ONE should be this addicted to television.

I also love House, Biggest Loser (are these on at the same time, because I accidentally missed House this week), CSI, and I can't wait to see the series premiere of Criminal Minds tonight. I tried watching Bones, but I was bored 15 minutes into it. It's kind of a relief for me to rule out a show, because it's one less thing I need to stress about during the week. I agree with Sadie on "The War at Home". I usually like offensive jokes, but this seems too forced. Maybe it needs to be MORE over-the-top to work, instead of bordering on the line between funny & offensive. *shrug*

For sitcoms, I love Arrested Development, The Office, and Scrubs. I don't think I've ever watched any shows on the WB.

Ok, I feel like I've purged my sins now.

I know during the fall there are sooo many good shows on. My kids are in bed by 7:30 and hubbie doesn't get home until 10:30 so I usually watch from 8:00 on...I try not to be too much of a tv junkie..but during the fall they make it so darn hard!!
