  • Biggest Loser...?

    How is it possible that each person lost SO MUCH weight, I really don't understand that...?
    Surley I'm not the only one that watched it, any thoughts..

    Stefanie.... I have no idea what the answer to your quest is but the same thing happened last year........the first week was amazing and then the second week really slowed down....... my husband thinks it was water weight...... Oh well I would have liked to said I lost between 11-20 lbs my first week.......

      I think they go from a 3500+ calorie diet with no exercise to a 1500 calorie diet with 2-3 hours of exercise per day. If I was that strict, I could probably do it too. No thanks, though. And yeah, I'm sure half of that is water weight anyway.

          Ooooooooooo is that show on again in the states? That means it will be in Norway by January of next year....I hope! I really liked watching it last year.....especially since I already knew who was going to win via the internet! LOL

          We have a show like that here too....infact I was going to try out for it but filming was from May thru Sept and I was in the states on vacation....now watching it I am soooooooooo glad I didn't. The norwegian teams trainer stinks...the diet they have them on, blick. Ick. Yuck. LOL

          As too the big weight loss every week on the show, the diet they are on and all the exercise is my guess. That and weighing so much to begin with.

            It's mostly water weight I'd say...


            I'd never watched this show last season..I happened to catch it last night. I think it was embarrassing and humiliating the way they put them in a room full of food (and they kept saying they were starving so i'm sure they hadn't been fed in a while) and them filmed them eating it. i was interested in follwoing the show but I thought that was in very poor taste and pretty low..so doubt I will bother now.

              I was amazed at the weight they lost also.
              Poor Rueben was such a downer on the mens side - but oh well the chicks ruled!!!!!!!

                If you cut calories THAT much and have a personal trainer exercising you that much when you were sedentary it is totally possible.

                Also, they ate A LOT the day before, and I know I lost 21 pounds in a week just two weeks ago!

                      Bought some for my fiend for her bday.. But boy did I spend a bit of time smelling away..
