  • Autumn in England

Autumn in England can be very attractive. The leafy lanes of Berkshire and Hampshire on whose boarders I live are particularly attractive at the moment.

But I am told the Fall in New England is quite extraordinary.

    Any pictures?

    Re: Autumn in England

Brian, I lived for 29 years in a village, and am now living in a relitively small market town. I adore our countryside. Both the serenity and the "farmyard smells".

Thanks for sharing those sights of your countryside in the Autumn. England looks very beautiful. I would like the chance to visit it someday.

Did you see this one, Richt?

Westonbirt Arboretum - must be near you - I have not been there for a few years.

I live in Arborfield, so of course we have many trees. You wouldn't think it is a military camp - at the moment it is absolutely georgeous.

As you know I play cricket. I used to play for Westonbirt and our pitch was in the grounds of the Arboretum. I lived about 6 miles away!

            Have you ever been?

Yes, as I said, but not for many years. We uSEd TO have a house at Hullavington - on the airfiels, and built in Bath Stone. Very nice.

Do these Yanks know about Bath?
