    Tee-shirt I bought today...

    I bought a PETA tee-shirt today. Yep, I sure did...let me explain. It is brown...
    on the front it says PETA with this under it People for Eating Tasty Animals. On the back it says, tree hugging is fine as long as you're climbing to a deer stand. Think that will be a big hit? I know, I am EVIL!

          Did any of you watch Wife Swap last night? One wife was a vegan and ardent PETA supporter and the wife she swapped with was from a family in Kentucky that got all their meat from hunting, deer, rabbits and squirrels!! The vegan family didn't even own a stove! The hunting family had deer heads hanging all over the place!

          Oh, and the vegan wife thought that she could get energy from the sun, and that one day people would no longer have to eat at all, just sunbathe .

            All the more fun for you. I love to stir up trouble. However, where I live the tee-shirt would be seen as "so what, we all hunt and eat meat...what is she wearing a shirt like that for?". Ah, the joys of living in Kentucky.

            However, once I have kids, I want to do that wife swap television show and go live with some vegans and show them how to cook deer tenderloin.

              Yes, I saw that. I love that show. It is one of my guilty pleasures.

              I would like to say that the family from Kentucky on the show in NO WAY represents all of the people I know in Kentucky (I live here). While I eat meat, mine is usually bought at the grocery with the exception of deer on occasion when my Dad hunts (only during the season). Also, we have no head, confederate flags or stuffed ducks anywhere in my home and my husband only owns one outfit of camo because my Dad makes him walk with him in the woods to scout for quail.

              However, the vegan woman was a trip. I mean, if I don't need to eat anymore and only need the sun, then what are people in places like Alaska to do? Hmmm? Bet she never thought of that one either.

              OK, enought about that...I love that show and can go on and on and on. Of course, I also love Nanny 911 and Supernanny so I am a weird TV watcher!

                  I NEED THAT SHIRT!!!! I work for a forestry company and that would be such a good hit! My husband has never hunted but will be this year. Our neighbors all hunt and we eat alot of their deer meat. My dh parent own a ranch and they raise black angus cows. YUMMY! We will be getting our half of cow delivered soon again. We are a meat eating family!!!
