  • But it is late November

Weather in the south of England has turned very cold. I am glad I bought some long cycling trousers - it was bright but bitterly cold yet I was still able to enjoy a few miles. I was amazed to pass runners in shorts. What say you, Betty?

It was warm here earlier this week. Then the temperature dropped Wednesday night, but it still wasn't terribly cold. Yesterday, the temperature dropped to below freezing throughout the day and it has remained cold.

The one good thing is that it's so cold outside that I've increased the pace on my morning walks so I can get back to my house faster! lol.

I have my first 10k scheduled to happen tomorrow in the snow and the slush. Temp at race time should be 37-38, with 11 mph winds. I do have motivation to run it well, however. There is 50% chance of rain starting 2 hours after the start. It's a good thing that I have a treadmill indoors that I can prepare myself for this. LOL

          Now that did not compute!

We Europeans ditched Fahrenheit years ago.

37-38 Celsius is pass-out dehydration hot!
