  • A place to store photos online

    AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I'm fed up with Yahoo Photos!
Most times it works fine, I upload my pictures and then I share my albums with people....like my Progress Pic link.
But sometimes the link will go dead on me.
And sometimes, like right now, it will freeze when I try and upload photos to an album!

I use Photobucket as well, but I really need something where I can upload a batch of pictures and link to them, and I can't figure out how to link to a photo album on Photobucket.

Anybody have a good reliable free site I can use for this purpose?

Moochie, what about your ISP space? Most ISP's provide quite a bit of space for free with your home internet account - no advertising, no limits, no nothing. All yours and all paid for - by you already!

Good point Brook! I have a webpage or something but I haven't gotten around to figuring it out. I figure after 2 years it isn't going anywhere. Until I do get around to it I use www.imageshack.us It's pretty reliable. Sometimes it "misplaces" photos so be sure to have a back up on your computer.

I haven't had a problem with Photobucket either, but how does a person allow friends to look at a specific album on there?

Brook, yes, I'm also looking into my ISP...I just need to talk to bf about what my password is...heck if I know what he/we used...lol

How about Putfile.com. Never tried it myself since I have a hosting service.

Photobucket has a place at the top of the page that you click that says "invite guest" that's how you share!

Re: A place to store photos online

Yep, I have several photobucket albums that are password protected...you can make your album public or you can share a password with friends for them to access it. Photobucket is blocked for me at work but I will try to look at it again at home.
