Emergency Desperate Housewives Help!

We went to bf's Christmas party last night and I totally forgot to get him to set his ridiculously complicated VCR to tape Desperate Housewives for me!
I was praying it was a repeat due to Thanksgiving in the U.S., but of course it wasn't...

If someone can let me know what happened...the more details the better...or point me to a site that'll have a good summary...please help! I just love this show!
