You snow lovers must not get very much. Us people up here in Canada who live in igloos get way too much snow for way too many months....and the cold...well that just takes the fun out of the snow.

        Hey Wanna!

Well, you can swap that and those of us from the sunny states feel the same way about the heat!!! Give me the sun without the humidity and the heat! It takes all the fun out of it!!

Yes but the problem up here in parts of Canada is when all the snow is gone all we get in our way too short summer is horrible humidity too we just can't win...

not good for our igloos either

Wow! Gorgeous pictures of an amazing part of our country. I was in Colorado years ago and thought that the increcible beauty was too much for me to even take in. I was in AWE!!! I'm hoping for some snow here tomorrow, but it will only be about 6 inches. I found some pictures from last summer when my house was covered by snow half way up the first floor windows. I can't wait for that again! Your view of the mountains is unreal! Post more of these! I just found this part of the site. I don't have too much time lately, but I'm glad I stopped in! Thanks for taking the time to share!

              Cleo,
I'll take your mountains but you can keep the cold. I'll even swap a hurricane for some of that snow but just a little and without the cold.

I've never been Colorado but for some reason I've been drawn to it most of my life. Maybe I'll get there one of these days.

Go make me a snowangel, would ya?

Yeah....as soon as we get those igloos all decorated (with knick knacks) and looking nice, summer hits and then we have to start all over again the next winter. It's a never ending job.

                        Love the photos Cleo!

We are expected to get our first 6 inches on Friday. Gonna look lovely around here but not looking forward to the driving.

I have to agree with my Canadian pals. I live in Calgary, and from my home I can see the Rockies, the scenery is wonderful, but the snow is too plentiful, but we are fortunate to get "Chinook Winds" that can change the weather by 30-50 degrees within a couple of hours. That means, the snow melts very quickly,,,,yippee, for all us snow haters! I would prefer a snowless winter, and only see the majestic snowy mountains in pictures. And as you can probably tell, I am NOT a skier, so the less snow, the better. I would prefer the southern hot weather, and air conditioning any day!
