We do have fireworks, but only at midnight. the board games were played through out the night.

The fireworks that we shown on the tv from London, were fabulous.

Okay, this is news to me. What's with New Year's and board games? It seems a lot of the people I PM'd mentioned they're playing board games (or completing jigsaw puzzles) for New Year's Eve.

Here in the Philippines, the usual tradition is to light firecrackers. The bigger, the louder, the better. The whole country sounds like it's in a war zone.
