    Re: When You Hit 40...

Everything fell apart for me when I turned 30. I had my first child (well, that was a good thing) I gained a bunch of weight during that pregnancy that never really left, my hair started turning gray, my bones got achy, my boozum and derryarea dropped a couple of inches.....I was quite relieved when not too much happened at 40. lol Although I've noticed (now that my 45th is looming) that I can't hardly read anything small either. The ironic thing is that I've got all these anti-wrinkle, anti-aging creams and I can't read the frickin small print. Hellooooooo.....if I need this kind of major face help, chances are I also need glasses too. Dumbunnies. lol

          Re: When You Hit 40...

40 was horrible. I was fat, out of shape, and feeling every one of those years.
That trend continued to age 47 at which point, Dr. Atkins entered my life, and radically changed it all.

Now, I'm 50 and feel better than ever. Nobody can believe I'm that age, nor can they believe I have a nearly 22 year old daughter.

It's been so long since I turned 40, I've forgotten!

Let's see how many years has it been since I turned 40......I was born in umm, oh yea, 1954 (thanks dh for reminding me - just because you're two years younger than I am!!)

              Re: When You Hit 40...

I will be 40 in April and my present to me is to lose this weight by my birthday. I just don't want to spend another year another birthday another day or another minute in this body. Even though I am not quite 40, I can relate to the not being able to see up close as well, just recently I started having trouble reading small print clearly. Now I have always been nearsighted so this was a major blow to me, I have a feeling one of my next purchases may be bifocals.
