If a rucksack counts, one. If you count the laptop bag, two.
I've never been a handbag girl. Give me a man's jacket with real inside pockets, and 5-pocket jeans, and I'm done. For the bigger stuff such as lunch, books to read, shopping, hiking, biking, there's the rucksack.

I have some fancy ones I never use they are just way too small. I buy 1 and use it till it looks dead then I buy a new one and old goes to trash.

I have one black one that carries my life essentials and I use it til it dies (I am such a fashion faux pas). I also have a shoulder bag that carries the bulky stuff like shoes, umbrellas, lunch etc.Female, 46yrs, 5'3"

my count is 22
plus three wallets for keeping CCs and money,one pouch to carry my cell phone,two small purse to carry my lipsticks,and two rucksacks,
i have a purse in almost every colore,red ,bage,blue,pink,gold,black,maroon,green,yellow, some floral prints ones,..
and i still think that i need more

I carry a purse because I have to (I have a lot of baggage) but I'm not a "purse girl" and don't even get me started on those fake louis vuitton handbags. I could go on a rampage. I have a nice purse, but I definitely don't have a purse to match every pair of shoes I own. I don't have time to change purses every day!Comment

not that many... like the others, I have smaller ones for the 'essentials' when needed... but my every day one.... some people could pack for a week...
it's a big ole leather Stone Mountain...
my sunglasses case (Oakley mframes) is bigger than half the purses I see!!

I have 3 everyday ones, but only cause I refuse to throw 2 of them away, just incase. I have 3 or 4 "evening" purses, you know the little prissy ones with sequins and beads on them, but only because I received them as gifts, I may have used them once or twice over the last 20 years when I attended a formal party.
I'm not a handbag girl either, nor am I a shoe person, my feet are too big for the cutesy shoes and I can't wear heels.
