Wow that sounds like an awesome book , and Marley sounded like quite the dog! THough I think it would break my heart to read it...After putting my dog down it took me 9 years before I could get another..my heart was seriously broken.

I understand about being heartbroken. I was DEVASTATED when my cat died 5 years ago. I still weep for him! I couldn't get another cat, so I got a dog, actually 2 dogs (sisters). When they died 2 years ago from poisoning (very bad neighbor), that put the end to pets for awhile.

I feel the same way about the book - I don't think I would be able to read it because I think I would cry. I could never watch Lassie when I was younger either - she always seemed to get hurt and then I would cry. Oh well -strange I know. It looks good but my heart isn't strong enough to read it. Enjoy it - whoever reads it!

Heck, I cried just reading the article! But I'll be looking for that book at the bookstore next week!(after payday!)
