Some nimrod decided to light the cardboard recycling bin contents on fire last night! It's located in one of the undercover parking spots and the building is brick so everyone is ok, but oy, what a mess of smoke and smell!
Bf said "Someones got a fire going" because there are a few fireplaces in the other side of our apartment complex, but we quickly realized it wasn't that. He ran down to check on it and I called 911. They got there pretty quick and put it out, no harm done to anyone but the brick wall and the dumpster.
Our apartment smelled like smoke and we are two over and three up from where it happened...I imagine the people right above and across from it had to air their places out pretty good.
Stupid people. There's a camera at that door so hopefully they'll be able to look at the footage and see who was around at that time of night, since the bin is just right beside where the camera points at.
So that was our exciting evening!
