  • What's up for the Weekend?

Dh and I are going to Canmore, a small town, just at the door of the Rockies. My friend bought a vacation home out there, and he's away in Cuba, so he offered us his place for the weekend! The mountains are the back yard, the view is unbelievable, and the air is brisk and fresh. We'll go up to the hotsprings as well for a relaxing bath water warm, outdoor pool. He also gave my DH a gift certificate for a classy restaurant for dinner for his birthday which we will be using as well. Hmmm maybe some candelite, soft music,,,, So that's my weekend plans!!!

Cleaning on Saturday, and errands and laundry.

Eating and drinking and watching Pittsburgh kick some butt on Sunday!

Cleaning, shopping, laundry, cooking, walking the dog, yelling at the kids to pick up after themselves....basically, the polar opposite of what you'll be doing Cruiser. Have a great time!!

lol, I didn't mean to turn this into a threadjack. Sorry!

Very small, intimate ceremony in a chapel with just parents and grandparents. We are having a reception next month in March. We thought we'd just spread out the celebrating over a month's time, lol.

More details are in my journal.

Oooh, weddings are so much fun!

                    My weekend...

Friday: Job Interview! Eek! My second this week. I also find out if I'll be offered the other job I interview for this week. Yikes. Friday my friend is also coming to crash at our place for the weekend, as her roommate has family coming over.

Saturday: Birthday / Graduation party for my husband's best friend (who was also the best man at our wedding). Should be fun!

Sunday: Family dinner at my parents place.

Its gonna be a busy weekend!

Re: What's up for the Weekend?

My plans all depend on the weather.

If the weather is good, I plan to venture into the city to see the Paul Cezanne art exhibit on Saturday. That will be a whole day thing for me, since I go to the city infrequently. On Sunday, I plan to do some yard work----begin preparing my containers and laying out where I want to put plants in the garden.

If the weather is crummy, I'll stay in my pyjamas at home all weekend and read a few books.
