Okay, I've been looking this up in the Urban Dictionary and I can only find it tied with another word.
As in:

Bomb Diggity
If something is the Bomb Diggity then its the best of something
1. Tom and Eddy are the bomb diggity

I guess its kinda made up if you use it in a way other than the dictionary definition. We actually use 'da bomb" here too, well the kids do anyway. Slang I guess is a better defintion maybe than made up.
