Twist my arm and here you go.....
            for about
            12 Fresh whole wings

take and cut them up put them in a large bowl of water with 1 cup of Kosher salt while you get everything together then drain well spread on a towel pat dry ...

something to deep fry in ...filled with oil
bring it to at least 350 degrees

            while that is heating

on the next closest burner put a large sauce pan on med
            add the following ...
            1 stick unsalted butter
1/2 cup Franks orig hot sauce
1/2 cup Lousiana Brand hot sauce
1/2 tsp of celery seed smashed (secret)
            sqeeze of fresh lime juice
1 tbl New Mexican ground red chile

let simmer when butter is melted in sauce

fry wings in the oil so they can float freely for about 15 min or until golden and crispy
then take them out of the oil with a slotted spoon and drop them right in the sauce stir around take them out of the sauce again with a slotted spoon and put them on a baking sheet in a warm oven while you keep frying ..when they are all done ....serve with the traditional cut up celery and
I take a jar of Maries Blue cheese dressing, mix with a pint of sour cream and some fresh crumbled blue cheese....

            enjoy

soyour house is going to be up close and personal when the Bus crashes throught the line. ouch.

I'm having a chilie fest cause it can be already cooked and the topics chopped while I get to watch the game and can just use the crock pot to keep it warm so Mother is in no danger if she wanders around in the kitchen checking things out.
And for those that remember the Doritos bringer is not invited this yr!

Heidi, your wings are much more of a recipe than mine! I roast the wings with a little Johnny's sprinkled on them and then we put Frank's on them and Carl and Shelly eat them...it's a party! Whoohoo!!

We're having a salmon ball, celery for me and crackers for those on the dark side. A veggie tray with all the usual suspects...and probably a little bowl of smoked almonds!

                          That'll do it!

here is the menu for the curious

Buffalo wings recipe above with the blue cheese dressing fix up above and celery sticks of course
baby back ribs (this recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/reci..._11125,00.html )
Chips (yup real tortilla chips) with home made salsa and guacamole
avocados are looking good right now
                            veggie tray with ranch dip
a variety of cheeses and crackers
one Low Carb cake and one regular cake with a big foot ball and the HAWKS decorated all over it
BEER, WINE, ICE TEA and SODA

                            THE SET UP
the floor is cleared of furniture and lots of pillows with a huge round (another one of my husbands modifications) dining table with the legs cut down...so people can enjoy food flopped watching the game....

this is absolutely the ONLY time I condone eating while watching TV....not only do I condone it ...I will be fully participating in it....

I have decorations up and noise makers.... NOW I JUST NEED SUNDAY TO GET HERE!!!!!

Oh man, this is a fun topic

                              I love the recipe!!!!

And i have to be honest here, I'm partial to the Steelers ...only b/c the Giants are my team, but they blew it!! LOL

I MUSt say it was AWESOME to see the Seahawks rip the Redskins a new one! I am from Jersey but I live in MD and ALL my inlaws LOVE the Redskins, and I hate 'em....it was a happy day for me, nonetheless..

What a friendly thread, and a great idea!

We are having my sister and her family over they are bring Go Karts and things like that...no Super Bowl party...but I have to make some of those YUMMY wings!!

Thanks again for this great thread!
