Cruisin'...Anyone been on Carnival Legend??

Getting ready to book a cruise to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Looking at going on the Carnival Legend out of NYC for 8 nights to Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands.

Gone on 2 previous cruises. Went on the Jubilee out of Los Angeles for part of our Honeymoon back in 1996 and weren't impressed. Went on the Conquest out of New Orleans in 2002 and loved it.

Wondering if anyone can give us their opinion of the Carnival Legend.

I have been on a couple of Carnival Cruises, not the legend, but my opinion of Carnival is that they are run of the mill type cruises. Very large ships, masses of people, lots and lotsa kids, food-not the greatest, and quite noisy. It might of been good when I was travelling with my teenage daughter, but not when I'm travelling with my husband. I have done a fair bit of cruising, and personally stay clear of Carnival for those reasons. But it all depends on what you want from the ship, the itenerary, the date...If you want anymore info, pm me, and I will try to answer any specific questions that you have. BTW for the last year, I have been consulting in the cruising industry!

I wish we could go some day.
Seems that financially, we'll never get there. Guess we didn't have the proper guidance early in our marriage, and we've been continually playing "catch up" ever since.

Already passed our 25th anniversary - guess perhaps we could set a goal for the 30th?
