I dye it medium brown, it adds some depth and covers up the grey.

Mine natural color is medium brown but as I am starting to get a few grey hair parties on my head I dye is more of a dark espresso or coffee color. As with Discolemonade, the darker brings out my eyes which are either blue or green, depending on my mood. I also have fair skin. My hair is shoulder blade long and is in big natural ringlets.

my hair is naturally light light brown/dirty blone w/e u choose to call it i have highlighted it, dyed it brown, dark brown, deep brown and red, light red and strawberry blonde (where it is as of now) i am working towards blonde blonde.....but not that fake over bleached blonde

My hair is naturally light strawberry blonde, going to blonde blonde in the summer. However it has been every color under the sun at one time or another. Now it is an auburn color as being only 32 I was not going to go white (not gray, white) quietly. Nope not me, I'm too young for white hair. Ewwwww
I used to cut my own hair all the time, but right now I have a deal with myself. If I can pull it back before summer I will let it grow, if I can't pull it up and back, it will be short again. I used to be able to sit on my hair. kind of want to try to get there again.

Black. The really shiny kind of black. Thanks to no sun in Norway!
I lived in AZ, land of the sun, for over 20 years, so I had black hair with reddish highlights. People would stop me to ask what shampoo I used because my hair is so shiny. I'd tell them - whatever is the cheapest!
In NY when I was a kid I had black shiny hair with bluish highlights, people used to stop and touch my hair to feel if it was as soft as it looked - it was/is.
I've never dyed my hair - People pay to have my color and I like my hair.
I had it cut just before vacation ended and I headed back to Norway. I'll probably get a trim if it starts to look ratty - otherwise I'll just let it grow until my next trip to phoenix and then get 10 plus inches cut off to donate to Locks of Love. I did that the begining of summer and it felt great to give.
In the past I've had perms, but my last one was, OMG, YEARS and YEARS and YEARS ago. And I cried after my perm, went right home and washed my hair.
Then a strange thing happened a few years ago - my poker straight hair - curled naturally. When my Mom came for a visit and she said she liked my perm and was shocked that I didn't have one! Now though, it seems to be back to straight with good body.
And thats the story of my hair. Has anyone elses hair changed from straight to curly?

Natural color is dark brown. I dyed my hair the first time at about 21, and tried out many shades but I keep coming back to copper browns and highlights.

Ladyhawke- my hair was straight also as a kid and now you'd swear I had a perm. My first and only perm was when I was 14 and it was so bad I've never attempted it again. Think FRIZZ poodle! Anyhow my hair started getting curly with my first pregnancy, and increased with the second. I joked at the time that I'd better stop having kids or I'd end up with an afro!

My natural color is dark brown -- it is a dark brown curly mess!! At my age, of course, I also now have a lot of gray.

I've had my hair every color under the sun!

Currently I am sporting highlights and lowlights of different shades of blonde and light brown.

I get mine done professionally (yep, high maintainance gal here). I've tried to do it by myself and have always had disastrous results.

Its nice to know I am not the only one! Pregnancy does some strange and wonderful things to our bodies! Until I had my son, I had asthma. I've been fine since, with one attack in 13 years - and that was because someone had sooooooooo much perfume on that it was a fog!

yep my hair is now very wavy, not quite curly. It used to be straight as a board. But hey that just means that I got a new look without any expense

Medium brown, auburn highlights, but going grey I'm afraid! I've always brightened it up to a bit redder, but last time I tried a new dye and one friend said "I love your hair, it's chilli coloured"!. So I guess I'm chilli coloured now! And I've had nothing but positive somments so I'll keep it this way, for a while, anyway.
