True... They LOVE to play. They don't mind if you don't play with them, though, as long as you're HOLDING them and loving them. There's nothing sweeter OR more loyal. Now I'm thinking that I need to get another one!

Mine are TERRORS. lol They are big lap dogs...mine are my babies. They sleep under the bedcovers with me (fun until they start using my body as a springboard for a good territorial fight at 4 am). Emily will be 3 in March and Ivy is 6 months, so they are plenty rowdy. I like having two because they will play and get really intense with one another, then flop down and curl up next to me. Mine were both very stubborn potty-trainers, though--Ivy is 90% there, with Emily it was closer to a year. Emily constantly sheds, Ivy I haven't noticed so much. I think she still has some puppy fur. They do have great personalities, and you haven't lived until you've seen a Boston Terrier 500. Their gas, though--they can both clear a room! Whew! It doesn't seem to matter which food I feed, either.

Cute pictures! I love the facial expressions. Boston' terriers are really cute and funny and I've always wanted one but decided to go with two boxers instead. They are very similar except for the size.

My sister has a boston ...OMG they are the funniest dogs on the planet..well except my darling pit bull she is of course the cutest, funniest and smartest dog but I have some bias!...

He flies!!! one day I came into the house and he took off ..straight up into the air across the room and into my arms!!! ...I have never in my life seen a dog shoot through the air like he did!!!

Val, I've always wanted a boxer, but when I told my hubby they were like bostons but bigger, he said NOOOOOO WAY!!!! lol

Funny you guys brought up BOXERS. That was one of our first dogs when I was little. She was the BEST of everything... so much so that we almost didn't start up with Boston Terriers. We found that a Boston Terrier is everything that a Boxer wants to be --- you know... an on the couch... lap dog!
