    O M G! O M G!

    Just had a shock at work, which has actually left me quite speechless!

    I was talking to my 45 yearold female CEO, and mid conversation she said "You've got a fit bum havent you".!

    I was lost for words! This is coming from a professionial person, during a professional conversation!

    LOL Not really the sort of thing I would have expected her to have said LOL

      Oh, definitely a compliment. Although you do have a point. A couple of years ago (about 10 years to be precise), I was working for Hallmark Cards in the Uk, and some female lady person came up and pinched my bum.

      I said to her, that if that had been the other way around it would more than likely deemed sexual harrassment. She thought about it and agreed!

                      LOL that's hilarious and quite a compliment!

                      But you are right..if you had said it to her????

                      I once had a boss point out during a meeting that my hair looked 'really nice' in front of my all male teammates. I didn't care, though was a bit embarrassed that i was singled out..but a coworker 'took offence, was uncomfortable' with the comment, HR was called in (i tried to stop it because it involved me but couldn't), my boss was demoted, eventually let go. It was a GUY that called HR! LOL he was after the bosses job..and never got it. It was one of my worst work experiences ever. my boss wasn't the greatest, and did have other work issues, but it was this 'sexual harrassment' claim that did him in.

                        How can someone complimenting someone on your hair be sexual harassement!? I think thats ridiculous.

                        Granted it was obviously a tad embarassing being higlighted like that, but surely not sexual harassment?

                            Definately a compliment.

                            I had a VERY handsome, rich and debonair boss who seemed to be happily married to a gorgeous woman. One day as I was pouring some coffee in the kitchen, he walked in to get some also and said to me that I was a very beautiful woman. I was actually very shocked and flattered he even said that since I had gained about 20lbs since I had started working there. I took it as a compliment and actually became one of his most trusted employees (even more so than family) for the longest time and he never made an inappropriate move beyond that.
