    Got new tattoos!!!

    Hey Everyone. I was gonna post this over in the other thread, but I couldn't find it! LOL

    I've had the cross on my back for 2 1/2 years now. I got "Joseph" on the inside of my left wrist....that's my son's name...about a month ago...and "What Goes Around Comes Around" going around my right ankle about a week ago.

    I'm not allowed to go back there...DH put me on tattoo time out ; )

    Excuse the glare on them...I just put my A&D on



    I go this one low enough so I can wear a regular shirt, and you can't see it : ) The tip of the top of the cross (say that 5x's fast) is on the boney part of the top of the spine.





    So whadda think? I love the script that we picked out...and yes I am camera happy right now!! LOL

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      Thanks. The cross is a little big...but I was so excited when I turned 18, I didn't care. I wanted the cross and I don't regret it at all, just a little smaller would have been better I think.

      Plus, everyone in the place was like "OMG, she's getting her first on her neck", so I had to be all big and bad, ya know?...Ahhh, the dumb things we do sometimes

        Once I get rid of my "belly", I am going to reward myself with my first tatoo.

        It will be discreet (wont be on my belly).

            Its going to be a treat / reward for when I finally get rid of it.

            I envisage having it on my shoulder.

            (btw, i dont envisage having my belly on my shoulder LOL)

              yes that script is beautiful!!!!! my husband and I had matching ankle bracelets done one year ...a chain of thistles with mountain chickadees.....I love tattoos and my body is a work in progress ..ithe one I am having done now is of Pacific Northwest wildflowers and will have three hummingbirds soon..it is cascading over my shoulder and down my chest ...a lot of work (so far 3-2 hour sessions!) and a large tat ...but it is worth it to me .....I would love to show it here but ...my husband would have a cow ....
              maybe if I can figure out how I can crop just the ink ....and not my chest

              it is art that makes a statement to the grave I think

              I have to admit I am addicted to this ...but I think when this is done I will stop...maybe ....

              tattooing done on the collar bone is killer....

                btw the kid that does my work will not touch a belly ..he says he will not have his work ruined by weight gain LOL

                  I have a few tasteful tattoos myself, I think done right tattoos can be interesting, sexy and certainly artful. I love the script you picked out, gorgeous. It's so cool and sweet when each tattoo has significant meaning, not just something you got drunk and picked out of the art book. Each of mine mark a significant event in my life.

                    Thank you so much. I completely agree. Tattoos can be very sexy and all of those things.

                    I personally like tattoos that have a meaning to them. To each his own, but getting on to get one, that's not for me. I think they should be an expression of art or something personal, not random. JMO.
