Strange Dreams

Someone mentioned nightmares in another post - something about sitting on the toilet and getting bit on the butt.
When I was a kid I had a dream that I flushed my brother down the toilet (because I was so mad at him in reality) - the next morning I woke up and looked around the house and didn't see him anywhere - I, being the very caring and kind sister I am - made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and flushed it down the toilet so he would have something to eat!
I was very surprised when I spotted him out in the neighborhood later that same day!
Can anyone else remember any strange dreams or nightmares?

I have the aboslute craziest dreams...even when I am sleeping!!!!

most are wonderful trips to far off places...I have really hot dreams as well still!! I love the ones where I leap into the air and just keep flying.....rarely bad dreams ..some are disconcerting like loosing someone in crowd and panicing...

one of the funniest ... was when I had a "panic" dream... and thought my shoes HAD to be refrigerated...sure enough ....when I woke up the next morning I was like "no way" and went to the frig...yup they were there neatly together on a shelf!
..I sleep walk on occasion... ..my husband has found me sleeping on the front steps a couple of times...on the living room floor.... yes I was sober!


I think I need a wander guard so I don't walk off in the woods and get eaten by a wildcat or something

I know when I was little Lady I really wanted to flush my brother down a toilet!

Yea me too, but one time my brother demanded that I get him a glass of water, Well ok I did, nice and cold from the toilet. (it was just cleaned) And another time I convinced my younger sister that the milk bone dog bones was cookies.
I was a good big sister wasnt I lol

I've slept walked on occasion, but my brother slept-walked all the time when I was living at home. He would play the game Pokemon on his gameboy all day....and then at night he would walk around play-acting the dream! He would wake me up stumbling around and muttering to himself...grabbing at things that weren't there...very freaky!

I have very vivid dreams....just last night I had a dream that I killed all my new fish! (African cichlids we've just had for a week).

Actually, the sitting on a toilet and being afraid of getting bit on the butt was a real, wide awake fear I had as a kid.

I use to have great dreams about flying like a bird when I was little. Or driving a car. Once I had a nightmare about monsters and witches trying to get me. They were surrounding the house and I wanted to sleep with Granny because I woke up and was afraid. But, she wouldn't let me.

Once in the early 80's, I was trying to learn how to macrame and there was a knot that I just couldn't do. I tried and tried and it wasn't working out right. So, I went to bed and slept on it. The next day I woke up and could do that knot perfectly!

And then there was a period when I would have nightmares about people chasing me and trying to kill me. But, those went away after I got out of that marriage. I rarely have nightmares anymore. In fact, I hardly ever remember my dreams now.

ok last night I had a dream I was driving with a completely obstructed windshield ...it was like mud or something on it ..I got where I was going but cound not see a thing

Melatonin will give you the craziest most vivid dreams you can imagine! I take it a couple of nights a week because I have a really bad sleeping disorder and it helps a little. I can't even begin to describe to you some of the dreams I have. Its like tripping in your sleep, only its legal!

omg that is so true I took it for a while and it was like an acid trip....whoops did I say that outloud

Yep you did and yes it is! John can't take it, he says he's dreams wear him out and he's more tired when he wakes up then he was before he went to sleep! Talk about technicolor!

LOL that is too funny about flushing him a snadwich.

I used to have reoccuring dream when I was little that I was big like the giant in Jack and the bean stalk and all my frineds were too little to play with and then I'd be too little and they and all the toys too big. That one stopped when I was 8 and never came back.

Has anyone ever had "the bathroom" dream? My friend and I discussed this and were shocked that we had the same dream - down to the cleaning lady!

You go into a public bathroom because you really have to go, but when you arrive - either all the toilets are gross and there is no way you'd use them - or someone else is using the others. There is a cleaning lady in the background mopping the floor, you only see the back of her - you wake up having to go.
