A one-year-old baby is recovering after eating crack cocaine. It was hidden behind a toy in her crib.
Upper Darby, PA -- A man was charged with endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly placing crack cocaine near a crib, where a 21-month-old ate some of it.
Marvese Forrest was rushed to Delaware County Memorial Hospital after her mother found her crying with white powder on her mouth, police said.
The child was treated and released.
Michael Brown, 24, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and recklessly endangering another person.
Police said Brown lived with his mother near Marvese's home and came to the door Tuesday night with his girlfriend. He told Marvese's mother that his mother wouldn't let them in, and asked if they could stay at her house.
