  • POLL: Where would you choose to live?

If you could pick where you'd like to live, where would it be?

For me, having already fled from snow country .. I'm staying put here!

Where were you from originally Betty? You have straight hair that looks like it would never get frizzy. If I moved to Florida I'd have to shave my head.

I voted to stay where I am. I don't mind the winters and I like the change in seasons. Keeps me from getting bored, you know? Heee.

I like living in Florida, a lot, except for the hurricanes.

I dream of living in San Francisco, but California has a whole new set of problems.

Re: POLL: Where would you choose to live?

I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska .. lived there for 43 years then moved here. Yes, I have straight hair which works well for this humidity, but yanno, Omaha is just as humid in the summers too .. AND absolutely horrendously cold in the winter WHICH I HATED! Summers I can do .. long as I have A/C, but NO SNOW EVER AGAIN.

My daughter has curly hair which goes megafrizzzzzzzzzzzzz here and she hates it, but who doesn't hate the hair they're given?

We have the change of seasons here too...(contrary to popular belief) .. just without the EXTREMES.

Yeah, the hurricanes suck, but at least you know they're comin' ahead of time. Tornado alley on the other hand ...

Re: POLL: Where would you choose to live?

Given the choice I would like to live in a much warmer climate.

Australia would suit me down to the ground.

Never been, but I have a gut feeling that I'd love living in the USA. Pity you have such horrid immigration laws....

Re: POLL: Where would you choose to live?

I am a native Alabamian, and I would love to spend at least one year further north. I would love to see more than 6" of snow! After the first blizzard I would probably go into shell shock, lol. I like the mild winters here but I would like just a little more snow. As for the summers, they're not too bad. In North Alabama the weather is relatively mild until August and September...those are the hot months! We are planning on moving here in a few years, but probably within 30 miles of where we are now.

I'd LOVE to live for a year in Europe, too! Just traveling all over, soaking up all the sites....maybe one day when I'm retired!

Being born and raised in Louisiana I would rather have cooler weather with SNOW!!! We moved to South Central Tennessee, but have yet to have snow really cover the ground. So, I guess that means we should move a little further north...closer to Nashville?

There are a lot of places I'd love to visit, but I really do love Washington, I'm staying put!

I love the outdoors, so Washington offers a lot to do almost year around...and it doesn't really rain all the time...and really we only have a couple volcanos and earthquakes only occasionally... it's great!

LOL im a Washingtonian transplanted to Montana. Love Washington , dont miss the rain. Love Montana but wish the winters were shorter. Both are beautiful places to live.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Embrace all equally!
