  • Isagenix Anyone?

My friend is becoming a sales rep for the company and will pay me to do an 11 day cleansing routine so that she can sort of have a guinea pig and work out her sales strategy based on my results and my input (she's doing it herself too but wants someone else's results as well).

I'm not entirely sure how it works, but (I think) it involves a partial starvation/suppliment heavy routine. She's checking for me to see if I can still low carb while I do it since there are shakes and stuff involved. The product is very heavy on cleansing toxins, and she's been doing it and honestly looks quite good (her skin looks flawless!).

Has anyone ever heard of this product/system or had anyone else who has?

I do not mean this as a sling off at your friend, but cleansing products are totally unnecessary if you are eating a healthy diet (and you are on Atkins). The body is a finely tuned organism and the liver is self cleansing so long as you get sufficient and regular sleep. These things only benefit the companies who manufacture and market them. Stick with your Atkins and don't wast your time on this crap!

Oh you're definetely right. I don't feel like I really need any sort of cleasing, but heck I'm going to get $250 to drink some damn shakes and take special suppliments for 9 (not 11) days, well, that's hard to resist! I checked out the nutrition information for the products and they're not super high carb; I probably wouldn't even go out of ketosis the entire time.

Think of all the low carb candy that money will buy..... (JUST KIDDING!! hee hee)
