Will do, it was a toss up between that film and Broke Back Mountain.

But BBM isnt being shown at my local cinema, so the decision was sort of made for me.

It was a great film, with a fantastic story and a load of big names starring in it. I would thoroughy recomend it to everyone. One of the best films I have seen for a while.

Sometimes you just cant beat a night at the big screen. Much better than watching it on DVD.

Well I do know who Bruce Willis is and I've heard of Morgan Freeman but I've never heard of the others. I"m going to do a search.

You have never heard of Sir Ben Kingsley? He is famous for playing Ghandi.

Yes it was lucky number slevin Karen, I posted it before I went, and realised that it had a different name when I was there.

                    ooops.

                      Re: Lucky number seven

Oh, gosh, Ghandi was so long ago, and I've never been real good at remembering celebrities names..like Morgan Freeman, the name sounded familiar but I was thinking it was a blond woman....LOL, I realized how wrong I was on that one when I saw the trailer

The main reason that the name of the movie threw me was that I believe there was a movie named The Sixth Sense that I was thinking maybe Lucky Number Seven might be some kind of sequal. It does look like a good movie though! If I see it it will be on DVD though.

Do you not tend to go to the cinema much mog?

Btw, I think your John looks a little like George Clooney.

I told him that too! He liked that since I have a crush on ol' George Clooney! I never get the name of the movie exactly right, but one of my favorites that he was in was "Brother Where Art Thou?" I love that movie!

No, we never go to the cinema, in fact in the almost 4 years John and I have been together I don't think we've ever been! We do have a pretty cool place here where you can go see a movie while you eat and drink beer or wine (they wait on you!), they even have a smoking section for us smokers (well at least they used to, maybe not anymore) The only thing is they show movies after the first run when they're usually already out on DVD's. Its just so much cheaper to rent one than it is to go and see it at the theater!

I know what you mean about the price, but for me, there is something a lot better about watching it on the big screen.

My local cinema charges just £4.50 per person. I suppose thats near to $10, where as we can hire a DVD for 2 nights for £3 (ish). But there is something about the cinema - almost like an escape from the real world for a couple of hours. Do you know what I mean?

Yea, the cinema is nice...but its always freezing and I always end up with some idiot near me who talks thru the whole darned thing. That plus, for the cost of 2 tickets you can buy and own the DVD if you want...I'm just cheap!
