Hmmm..just saw Crash from Netflix...it was good, fitting for a rainy day because it's pretty depressing and dark....
I just finished the last DVD of the Amazing Race (season 7) I LOVE this show and it will get your heart pumping!
On netflix, they have the top 100 and you can take a quiz and they will determine your movie likes and offer you suggestions, I have over 100 picks in my queue!!!
You can go to www.imdb.com and they have a link that will take you to the top movies of all time or the top movies from this year, 2005, 2004, 2003, etc. and you can possibly find some good ideas there.
How about the complete seasons one and two of Nip/Tuck? Talk about a delightful rainy day guilty pleasure...

They don't care what you rent just as long as you pay the monthly fee
maybe that was not the right word...I will pick a catagory like Comedy start browsing pick a movie then it shows me "if you like this you might also like this" and off I go from my list of interest ..then it takes me forever to get back to where I was...I am sure it is me wandering off is all ...I am easily lead astray
If you like period historical things (like the kind on Masterpiece Theater), I highly recommend "North and South" and "Pride and Prejudice" (the one with Colin Firth). Right now, my netflix queue is filled with tv comedies from the 1960s....
Heidi, have you seen Millions?? It's a UK film that showed at the Indi theatres around here. I LOVE it. Also, I'm not sure if it's on dvd yet, but Good Night and Good Luck was a great film also.
One of my new favorite old movies is the original Stepford Wives. So creepy.
I was looking through Netflix last night and noticed they have Degrassi Junior High! Degrassi was a show about teens in junior high and high school. I remember watching it when I was in high school and college (we all loved it in college!) They tackled issues like teen pregnancy, drug use, teachers, etc. It was well-done too. I'm adding it to my queue to see if I'll still like it.
