  • Squash - what a waste of time!

Some of you may or may not know that I have started playing squash a couple of times a week. So far so good, everyone of my friends that I play I have beaten.

Some matches have been so easy that I wanted a bit of a challenge and I wanted to see quite how good (or not so good) I was. So I joined a league that is organised by my local leisure centre.

I had my first game last night, I was playing against a woman who hasnt played for 3 years due to injury, but before hand had been playing for 25 years. She turned up with 2 racquets, which was i suppose an omen for me! She obviously knew her way around the court.

Her previous 2 games in this league, she was beaten by 2 guys, 3 games to 0 each one! She lost 2 games 3-0, so I thought ok, I may have a chance!

Fatal error there! She beat me 3-0! I am going to get so slaughtered by everyone in the league and I am gutted.

But I suppose I wouldnt have known if I hadnt entered.

I got well and truly squished!!!!!!

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

just think of all the exercise you will be getting chasing the ball and all the improved skills you will be developing returingtheir shots. you can do it.

change can come in either of two important ways:start behaving positively or stop behaving negatively.
