Whats your favorite British Sitcom.

I just finished watching Waking Ned Devine, one of my most favorite comedys, and not British, but for some reason, it made me think of the great British sitcoms that I use to watch.
The ones I liked most of all, are off the air now, but Absolutely Fabulous, Are You Being Served and Waiting for God have to be the funniest shows in the world.
So are their any new ones that I should watch for.

Well, I think you got "The Office" over there, that was very succesful and comedy genius. Even though I absolutely hated it at first. If you've ever worked in an office you should love it.
Then of course, there is the Blackadder series, again, genius.
I'm not aware of many others that are garbbing me at the moment.
I'm happy with my Seinfeld DVD's.

AbFab's amazing, I have all these great memories growing up watching it. My favorite though- that's gotta be a toss up between the Blackadder Series and Father Ted.

I live in Ireland and the show's bizarreness isn't that far removed from the truth! LOL
Saying "Ted" after some everyday phrases is a common thing here, well, i do it every day anyway (In a mock Irish accent)

I've watched AbFab and Benny Hill on whatever channel I could find since I was young.

And although not a sitcom ( and neither is benny hill ) MONTY PYTHON

Mine are off air, but they are "Chef!" and "Vicar of Dibley" (though I wasn't too crazy about the last Christmas special, the first Christmas episode is classic!")
