NO, I HADN'T SEEN THIS!! But I have now, and I voted for TURNIPS!
THEY'RE NOT EXCITING? Honey, you've never had MINE!
I make them ALL THE TIME and my non-Atkins family LOVES them!!
TASTE UGLY? NO WAY NO HOW!
A PAIN TO PEEL? They peel easier than potatoes! Use a potato peeler and voila!
I THINK YOU DOUBTERS NEED TO COME TO MY HOUSE FOR MASHED/HASHBROWNED/SCALLOPPED TURNIPS!

I think they are a pretty good substitute for potatoes. I've used them with roasts and such. My favorite has to be baked though like a french fry. I must admit though, I had to call my mother-in law to ask her what the heck it was when I first started Atkins a few years back LOLComment
