    My little buddy is one today!!!

    This is such an awesome day. At exactly 6:18 pm, Joey will be one year old!

    I am so happy and overwhelmed all at the same time. I wanna jump up and down, and cry! I don't know what to do with myself right now! LOL

    I cannot believe it has been a year already. The time flew by. It's sad b/c he's never going to be an infant again, but he's got so much more ahead. I cannot wait for this next year and I can only pray it's half as great as this one was.

    Tonight he is gonna have a nice big boy dinner, and then a little cupcake just for him! Tomorrow though, is another story. Balloons, cake, food everywhere, present everywhere, 30 people, screaming kids, and pure madness , and I cannot wait!

    Thanks for letting me share you guys. You all know how much I love my Joey and I HAD to share!!

      Yea, I have been MIA, huh?!? I just have been soooo busy getting everything set up. Shopping for decorations, ordering the cake, buying the presents, invitations, decorationg, cooking (EEK!) LOL and everything else. It's been madness. I won't get into all that again, just peek in my journal, that should put you up to speed! LOL

        awww HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOEY!!!!

        I love their 1st birthdays, it is always something so special for us mothers and parents. For both of my son's birthdays, I had a normal birthday cake and gave them a piece and let them eat the piece however way they chose to, Usually it ended up getting all over their faces and clothing, etc, but that was meant to be the fun of it all!

                  The party went wonderful, I will post pics when I get them. I was arned w/ the camcorder, so my Dad got the pics. As soon as I get 'em, you'll get 'em! LOL

                  I had such a great time and I was so excited so many people came to see him. It was amazing.

                        thanks! I did really well with not crying until the birthday song. JUst hearing 30 people together singing to my little man, it was overwhelming, John and I both kinda lost it. He did a better job than I did keeping it together, naturally.

                        Thanks Heidi, I took it today, probably an hour or 2 ago! LOL. VERY current!!! hehe

                          time goes buy fast but moments like your babys first birthday stick with you forever ...I am all nostalgic ....tons of joy hugs and kisses this is monumental ..and that dress....sigh.....

                              Thanks!!! I can't belive how much of a pumpkin head I had! LOL. I had bowling ball head syndrome!!! hehe

                              Yea, I still cry when I think about it. It was so awesome. My Dad and I had a moment afterwards. He told me how proud of me he was, and it all finally made since. Now I understand how he's felt all of my 20 birthdays. I cried and he cried and it was a beautiful moment, one that I'll remember for ever, that's for sure.
