I'd say the only way you're too old for a bikini is if your chest is covering up the bottoms.

I just bought one and I'm planning on wearing when I go on vacation next weekend. I'm 42 and I say, who cares? I'm doing it and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it. I'll never see those people again. OTOH, I wouldn't wear it in my neighborhood when I mow the lawn, lol.

Many women - at any age - look better and feel more comfortable in a bikini. My mother still wears one (a modest one!) in her late 60s and looks phenomenal.

I've been on a bikini hunt for awhile now, but haven't found one that works. I'll probably go with a tankini instead, and bought a one piece for doing laps.

We're in Florida on the beach where almost every female is wearing a tiny bikini!

I swear I have seen women in bikinis who are 80 years old with a fantastic bodies.. firm, shapely, no fat.. no bulges or sags... few wrinkles......... perhaps no children either.....

if you look great.. a bikini is fine at any age.... I just bought one and I am 58 years old.. down to 127 lbs..... and my husband say I look good and can wear it in public..... but I don't agree... I will wear it in the back yard in front of him... but no one else unti I reach goal... 120 lbs.. maybe less.... and more exercise!

I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable in one, but if you look good, go for it. My last swimsuit was the practical kind - for Basic Training - and I've never used it, since we weren't tested on that aspect (strangely, but I guess if I had joined the Naval Reserve it would have been a different matter).

Could have used it on our Navagational Exercise, though - ended up having to cross a river (should I put the blame on the person who charted our course?) with all our clothes and boots and gear on. We weren't sure whether to take the boots off, because of the rocks - stepping on a sharp one would have probably made us fall (and get our rifles and everything else wet). As it was, it was about waist-deep (depending on your height, of course)

As long as someone still looks good I don't think there is an age limit.

But, some of them I see make me wonder if they have any self respect at all -- or even a mirror for that matter!

Jasmain!!! You're killing me!!! Yeah, I'd say go for it. There are some youngsters (i.e. late teens, early 20's) who wander around the beach in itsy bitsy things and they've got jiggles and cellulite and bulgy bits and it's just not attractive. I agree, if you look good then go for it!

I agree...if ya got it, flaunt it!

Otherwise, if you've gone from 38 D to 38 "Longs", a bikini is definately not for you! Boob droop is a sad sight to behold.
