Re: A big Happy Birthday!
Thank you all so very, very much for the kind birthday wishes. Well, I spent most of the weekend cleaning my house...lol but I'm getting ready to abandon it for most of the next few months when we spend our weekends at the cottage, so it was what I actually wanted to do this weekend. DH was going to make a special dinner, but he had to work all weekend so I made it myself - steak (which he bbq'd), ceasar salad, mockafoni & cheese, mushrooms and J.P.'s cake (from the recipe section). I didn't want any gifts and no one had time to go get me one anyway, but the kids made me beautiful cards and my 15 year old ds almost made me cry with his. Those were the best gifts. DH gave me a card too and part of my anniversary gift (last weekend) was supposed to be for my birthday too - it was a bunch of really nice, sparkly, jewellery. He bought a gold chain and got a bunch of nice costume stuff included. It's nice. So that's it for another year. Thanks everybody.
